Tri-State International Trucks, Inc. began over 40 years ago as Bill Hobbs Garage, a small town garage that simply took care of customers. In 1972, Bob Cartwright left International Harvester Company and partnered with his customer, Bill Hobbs. Already selling some medium-duty trucks, Bill Hobbs Garage started to grow into selling International heavy-duty trucks. Known for strong parts and service, Bob Cartwright sold International heavy-duty trucks without even having the International contract. The company had to take notice, when this small town dealer sold more trucks than some of the dealers in the big cities. In 1985, Bob Cartwright purchased the business from Mr. Hobbs and it became known as Tri-State International Trucks, Inc. The business continued to grow and today is comprised of five International Truck dealerships across West Tennessee and Western Kentucky. These days things are much more complicated and trucks are much more sophisticated, but we still simply take care of the customer. |
